Dan Feickert

Dan Feickert is a 2012 graduate of Elkhorn High School that played football and basketball for the Antlers. He was a varsity assistant coach at EHS for 5 years before being hired as head coach in 2021. Feickert played college football at the University of Nebraska at Kearney and graduated with a degree in Social Sciences Education. Feickert currently teaches Social Studies at Elkhorn High School. Dan is married to his high school sweetheart, Taylor, and they have two children August (3) and Faye (newborn). Coach Feickert is super excited for the future of Elkhorn Football!

John Bacus

John Bacus has coached Elkhorn Football for 45 years. He is a graduate of Kearney State College and played football and basketball for the Lopers. John spends his free time umpiring baseball games and playing trivia. Coach Bacus is the quarterbacks coach and the resident historian of Elkhorn Football.

Greg Hays

Greg Hays is a 1990 graduate of Elkhorn High School. Hays was a member of the first state championship football team in EHS history in 1989. Greg holds the school records in touchdowns in a season (33) and career (68). He also holds school records in rushing yards in a season (2,186) and career (4,258). Coach Hays also coaches track at EHS.

Jairin Potter

Jairin Potter is a 2007 Graduate of Englewood H.S. (Colorado). He participated in Football, Wrestling, and Baseball all 4 years. He graduated from Hastings College in 2011 with a Bachelor's Degrees in Psychology and Criminal Justice where he was a member of the Hastings College wrestling team. Jairin then earned his teaching certification in Special Education from UNK in 2017. He joined the Antler football program in 2020 as an assistant coach and has been the Head Wrestling Coach at Elkhorn High for the past 4 seasons. Potter's wife, Chelsea, is also an Elkhorn Public Schools teacher and head volleyball coach at Elkhorn South. They have a 4 year old son named Jantzen and recently welcomed twins Jagger and Kameron to the Elkhorn Football family in January!

Mark Nuismer

Mark Nuismer currently teaches Social Studies at EHS and joined the football staff in 2020. Coach Nuismer volunteered for EHS football in 1990s before teaching and coaching at Aurora High School. Nuismer is the 1996 Goracke award recipient (EHS football volunteer of the year). Coach Nuismer has four daughters, two of which attended EHS and competed in various sports for the Antlers.

Alex Liston

Alex Liston played football and basketball for Logan View High School. He went on to Midland University where he graduated with a teaching degree in Special Education, PE, and coaching. Alex has been coaching football and basketball at various levels for the last 6 years. For the last 5 years, he has been coaching for Columbus High School. While there he spent time as a freshmen assistant, freshmen head coach, and more recently as the varsity wide receivers coach and JV offensive coordinator. Alex joined the EHS staff in 2021 and currently teaches special education at EHS. Alex and his wife, Brandy, have a two-year-old daughter, Lilly. They are super excited to be a part of the EHS football family!

James Rosenbaum

James Rosenbaum is a 2000 graduate of Elkhorn High school where he competed in football, basketball and track. He was a WR/DB for the 1999 state championship football team. James attended college at University Nebraska-Kearney graduating with a construction management degree and played safety for the Loper football team. He is married to his high school sweetheart, Katie and they have three boys, Hunter, Jax and Graham. James coached freshmen football for 8 years and spent the past 5 years coaching JV/varsity basketball for the Antlers as well. James is looking forward to being back on the football staff again.
